Theme: I am the Vine, you are the branches.
We, as children of God, have work to do, but not as lone rangers. We are expected to stay connected to the vine, faithfully and courageously reaching out, securely connected to other branches and to the vine of life. We will be pruned for our mistakes to make us better and fruitful. If we stay connected to the vine by abiding in it, trusting in it and accepting its confines, we will learn to want the best for us and will feel free to ask for them. The work we are given to do will be done happily to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As children in the present era we should never lose connection to God and to our fellows. Don’t unfriend anyone in your group, rather talk to them about what you didn’t like just the way Jesus prunes us to make us better. Everyone has their own qualities and bad points. Embrace the qualities of your peers and stay connected just as five fingers makes a fist more friends can make a strong group.
